    Herrera is jabbing in and jerking away to dodge the Perez counter jab. Quick ducks and swerves by Herrera, bending and rolling his knees, making Perez miss while stalking him into the ropes. Long clinch. Perez is leading with left hooks and bashing down with rights jumping in, all blocked. Herrera is putting up the guard tight around his face whenever Perez unloads, but walking forward with his arms down to conserve energy and stay in position to up-jab into Perez's chin from his blind spot. Flush jab by Herrera. Overhand right by Herrera keeping Perez on the ropes. Body jab by Perez, bending his waist and bouncing his butt off the ropes to launch himself free at a sharp angle past Herrera. Jabs traded outside. Long right hand by Perez, missing.

    Herrera makes me think of Richard Pumicpic. Both are criminally under-rated due to their records but it tends to take a special fighter to beat them. Both are aggressively intelligent and lack power.

    Perez is throwing big right hands down at the head of Herrera, bossing him into the ropes. Herrera throws jabs and overhand rights to back Perez off, but Perez is able to quickly dart away in straight lines, placing his rear foot and dragging his lead. Perez is scoring counter jabs on the face as Herrera comes bulling in with earmuffs on looking for an overhand, and ties up when Herrera begins letting his hands go.
