    Mares here reminds me of Khan, in his first couple of fights at least, under Virgil Hunter.

    Oquendo is jabbing and covering up, never throwing more than one-and-done. Mares is dancing around Oquendo, a bit lazily, staying close until Hunter yells at him to pick up the speed. Mares chops with a right hand as Oquendo gets close. Mares jabs up into Oquendo's chin and ducks in under an Oquendo right hand, clasping his arms around Oquendo's chest.
