    Alvarez is putting through hard right hands, unable to skewer Lara on the ropes as he is hoping to, just a bit too slow. Lara is popping left hand leads up onto the face of Alvarez, playing matador. Lara is scoring double right jabs before the left hand now, landing and jogging off to his right. Lara scores a right hook while navigating the ropes, keeping Alvarez honest. Left jab by Alvarez, caught with hand in the cookie jar, hit in the face with Lara's right jab. Lara taps into Alvarez's guard with a double right jab. Alvarez steps in and lands a meaty left and right uppercut on the body, almost lifting Lara off the canvas with them and causing his guard to lower instinctively. Lara is dancing to his left, snapping off the ropes with the right jab. Alvarez comes in pumping the left jab, Lara turning him and making him miss and countering with the right jab past Alvarez's left.

    10-9 Lara but Alvarez landed his best stuff all night with that pair of uppercuts downstairs
