They count equal as headshots. Lara landed more and controlled the ring. NUFF SAID your boi had the fix in tho.
Show me in the rules where they don't count as much as head shots let alone ineffective 1-2s twice a round.
He said they count the same.... maybe you should get your eyes checked. .. you just made your scorecard null and void, since you can't see ****...
Bull****! It all depends on the impact. Canelo's body-punches were way more effective than Lara's headshots.
oh were you the one getting hit by them? atsch you can tell by watching? Canelos body work was sporadic Laras jab was in Canelos face all night and controlled the ring. I cant believe the length people go to defend their countryman
This is what separates Boxing from other sports. In Baseball a Grand-slam is 4 points. In Basketball a lay-up is worth 2 points. In Soccer a goal is 1 point. But scoring is not set in stone for Boxing. - What counts more, head or body shots? -Is 3 jabs better than landing one straight right? -Who should win, the guy who landed fewer but harder punches or the guy who landed more but weaker punches?
there is a fine line of calling yourself "boxer" when you run and get hit with body shots. I had Canelo winning a close fight. The fact that Lara claims to be on the same level as Mayweather is absurd.
Body shots are overrated on here and by commentators. Seriously, watch the fights. Fighters like Mayweather willingly take body shots to prevent getting head in the face. Just watch a fight like Roy Jones vs Pazienza. Roy let Pazienza hit him with a million body shots and he was ok, had he taken half of that to the face he would have died. I'm not saying Lara won.
Food for though...Tomoki Kameda showed what happens when you land a perfect body shot, though Pungluang Sor Singyu seemed to land the much higher number of them...
even if someone KSAB and scored bodyshots for canelo, lara still outlanded canelo and landed the more cleaner shots. pretty idiotic statement overall
