    exactly fighting a shot to hell Martinez who had nothing left and should have retired after the murray fight is one thing.but canelo is in his prime every time cotto fights an elite fighter who still in their prime cotto gets destroyed.canelo puts the pressure on cotto giving him flashbacks of margarito canelo via tko.

    Didn't Canelo just say he's staying at junior middle his whole career?

    Regardless, there will definitely be a catchweight for this one. Canelo too big too strong for Miguel.

    Cotto marks up easy and Canelo would probably fill out better at 160 and unleash bombs that would break Cotto

    After last night, if I am Cotto, I'll be saying bring him on...ASAP...

    Canelo has trouble handling movement and speed... Cotto has improved intensely on both... And clearly has the speed, power and movement over Canelo...I'll be licking my chops....yes bring him on, please!!!!:happy:happy:happy

    it would be an amazing scrap. cotto threw 506 punches vs mayweather which was a very phonebooth fight, alvarez tonight threw 415. noted that if lara was not moving so much his punch output would increase but if cotto fights smart he might be able to box and work his way in and out behind his ATG jab and make it a very tough fight for canelo

    though i feel because of the styles canelo SHOULD eat him up

    If I am Cotto I'll bait Mayweather with my middleweight belt,,,.. But Mayweather has an opponent in September and that leaves him no choice,.. He'll face ALvarez,.. THere's no way he'll fight GGG with Freddy Roach in his corner,.. But if he's solo, Cotto-GGG is a lock on..... Just saying..
