How many punches where thrown by each fighter?

I mean does Canelo winning set back great defensive boxers if he made Lara miss almost as much has Lara did him?

Yeah, by ten punches, which doesn't matter.

It doesn't even matter a little bit. It's an irrelevant piece of information.

10 more punches, if we go by compubox, but feel it doesn't take into account how well the punches land.

Canelo is good defensively when coming forward and thus both guys where made to miss a lot, needs to improve his footwork though.

it does, and canelo body punches are overrated, lara jab that controled the distance underrated. also u siad canelo landed but less, in seven whole rounds.

I can't say it any differently, so i'll just say the same thing again: that doesn't matter.

It was a very very close fight. I had it a draw. But there is no point in pretending that ten more punches in seven more rounds is indicitive of a Lara victory. It is NOT. Pretending that Canelo was "ineffective" in his aggression, is also not reasonable. There was one bad scorecard last night but a very, very reasonable winner. The End.

Last night people decided that getting repeatedly punched to the body was defensive wizardry. A sad day for boxing.

Both guys landed a similar amount yet Lara is called a defensive great fighter and Canelo not :huh.

would that be comparable to posters who get censored on this forum for dissing the credibility of boxing by virtue of dodgy federations?

or would that only be relevant when moderators decide that deleting is easier than debating?
that's happened to me twice in recent times, and it was nothing in the big scheme of things...but it became something when stuffy (and perhaps ***-deprived) mods turned something "irrelevant" into something much bigger

not going to let this rest just because one - eyed mods want to be small-minded....
(I don't think this had anything to do with you, but 'the professor' must be the ***-starved individual I am talking about since he's been impotent when it comes to replying to my query)

I haven't moderated here since the avatars got scooped. I can tell you that it's an awkward as **** job. It's difficult.

Am I misunderstanding you or did you say that you had threads deleted for saying the WBA is **** etc.?

I got moderated for replying to a thread that was above board, and i replied being critical on the sport by virtue of the federations which collectively serve exactly that purpose

my post got deleted. it bugged me for a couple of weeks to the point where i sent a message to 'the professor' - that was ignored (i know that because he had dished out bans in the meantime), and so i started a thread asking if this had happened to anyone else.

it wasn't abusive but it was to the point. it got deleted.

I've never made an alt, i don't hate on posters, and my record should show that since I've been posting on here.
i have no problem at all if anyone disagrees with anything i have to say, but my point of view got shut down purely because someone didn't like it.

that's my call on what happened - i'd be more than happy to stand by that.
it was just really disappointing to get censored based on someone disagreeing with what i had to say, rather than anything else.

thanks in advance for any feedback.
    it'll be the first time

EDIT : i'm not here to make the job harder for you guys - i was posting a valid point and i wouldn't have pursued it if i thought i was wasting your time

I'm not in any position to give feedback i'm afraid, the only dealings i have with the ESB boys is through the TBRB.

I can say that in various dealings across the years they have always been fair with me, even when they stripped me of modship it was reasonable. They made two mistakes with me and did everything in their power to rectify them.

    regardless, i appreciate you replying
this is the first time I've had issue with them, and i know i'm in the right.

being shut down for a difference of opinion only pisses me off because i can't get one word from anybody
