Looks like it will be next! I love both fighters, they both throw down and are exciting. that will go maybe 2-6 rounds max! All out war.

Lara had his shot, could've did just a little bit more to lock up a win. I dont know how u get to that point and just dont throw more and lock up the win. rematch maybe down the road or maybe never.

Hopefully Kirkland fights somebody in the next 2 months otherwise he will be inactive for almost a year before he fights Canelo and thats not good in his case.

Anyways Nov 15, or 22 (which would go against Pac-Algieri, made thread on that already)

    Im pumped!

I say 4 rounds.I think canelo gets dropped for first time, strongest puncher hes faced and Kirkland is no punk. Kirkland gets dropped like 3 times (defense is no good) should be a great fight. :bbb:bbb

Defo an easy win for Canelo.

He's probably MORE powerful than Kirkland, and unlike Kirkland, Canelo proved his chin.

    Canelo KO2.:thumbsup

Ishida KOs Kirkland in 1. Ishida, a 35 year old Japanese fighter (at the time) who couldn't break an egg with his punching power dropped Kirkland 3 times in the first round. Which is why DLH is hopped up over this fight. Kirkland gets exposed (again) and Canelo gets an easy payday.

Kirkland will bring the heat but he is an opponent who will make Canelo look good.

    Canelo in 6.

Its not DLH who has hopped on this fight, ppl been talking about this for years. would've hapened a few years ago bro, Kirkland priced himself out.

it could be easy or canelo could get caught. Kirkland not gonna back up

You know the story of Achilles, right? Well, for Kirkland, it is his chin.

god this would be WAR in the alamodome!!

People forget that kirkland destroyed a prime angulo worse than canelo did….and he would dominate lara worse than canelo too.

I think canelo takes him out but it'll be a great experience.

Mandingo might not be as talented as Canelo or Lara, but he's a wildcard. He struggles with B, C level fighters, but his propensity of getting hurt early and then turning the tables later in a fight would make it real interesting. Tho it wouldn't surprise me Canelo or Lara dropping him early, if Kirkland can corner either one and make him fight his fight he can givem hell. After all, it was the trio of Canelo, Lara, and Kirkland plus Angulo that everyone wanted to see fight against.

Yeah but his heel didn't give him any problems defeating Hector in the Trojan War, I'm more of a fan of Canelo now than I was, but I'm not sure he has the punching power of prime Angulo, who Kirkland walked through in spite of being dropped, the Ishida fight people should chalk up it to a fluke, the epitome of a lucky shot.
