Yes and no, he was getting off and out of the way first half of the fight. After round 6 it went from defensive boxing to running. I have no issues with a guy moving alot as long as he's still putting out an effective offense, there were some rounds has was just running without any real attack. I feel like the right guy won and it could have been a draw. But this is what Lara does, I thought he was going to put on a mayweather type clinic I was Wong on that.
I have watched that fight three times today and last night. Lara appears to be over confident and wanting to make canelo look bad which he certainly did without a doubt making canelo look slow sluggish unable to connect or cut off the ring. lara just forgot to finish the fight in the twelth round so over confident that he had already won not reconizing he was fight a crowd favorite in a golden boy promotion against their cash cow. other than that he wipped that boys ass.
To me running is when you are getting hit and running, its not moving, moving is smoother, you are out the way when the guy is trying to connect. I think Lara just outclassed him.
he used good skills to keep from getting into a fight, but it started to feel like he needed to make it a fight in order to make it a clear cut win. He didnt. He looked like he was the one that wasnt interested in engaging in a fight of any kind.:deal

the runner outlanded the pursuer with less punches thrown. it was comical. drainelo swinging on air, all the while his dome getting snapped back repeatedly. he has cement on his feet and way slow. telegraphing all his punches. only a matter of time he cant make sww (he is on the way, 155 the last 2 fights) and he will be forced to deal with the bigger guys. meanwhile, expect c/w in the next 3 to 5 fights.

if you counted the punches blocked, those tht landed at the back, arms, hip, below the belt, then maybe yes. there's a reason drainelo has **** connect percent. he landed very few body punches. it looked good though. and the fight did not start at round 4.:good lastly, drainelo vs. air, drainelo wins.
