It is a good fight, but who has NJkam ever beat that has similar style as Stevens. I think Stevens is a tougher stronger version of Quillin, and I think NJkam will be stopped this time out.:think
Unlike Quillin, Stevens doesnt have chin deficiencies to make him apprehensive going for the kill. Yup......NJkam gonna feel some Bronx bombing.
this is a good fight. it all depends on how N'Dam goes about it for who comes out the winner. if he goes about it like he did against Quillin, he loses. if he uses his boxing ability and stays smart, he'll clearly dominate Stevens. i'm not too sure N'Dam has learnt his lesson so i'll sit on the fence for this one. N'Dam is by far the better fighter though.
OK, good crossroads fight for all involved. But only one is gonna maintain his contender status, and that's Stevens, though I could see Vera giving him trouble if they fought. I got Vera beating Rosado(too many wars) and I got Stevens beating NJkam. Maybe when Stevens KOs Quillin, he can give Vera a title shot. Now, that would be a war.:think
Maybe Khurtsidze, or even Lorenzo. Stevens has been cleanly outboxed by the likes of Jessie Brinkley and more recently T.Johnson. This fight will be N'Dam's to lose should his lose focus and get caught.
I'd pick Njkam to beat Stevens. Curtis Stevens is a good puncher but he isn't as good a boxer as people think he is. And despite the 5 knock downs against Quillin Njkam has got a decent beard. He has by far the higher pedigree of opposition and wins. Njkam is a solid boxer and I expect him to win.
