Cause he beats his opponents on the inside and outside...if you know anything about boxing then you know Floyd first controls his opponents on the outside, he jabs, circles, pot shots pivots, he demonstrates long distance mastery. He allows his opponents to chase him, swing and miss, counter, circle, strafe, frustrate. Make them miss and make then pay...When the opponent starts showing fatigue and frustration Floyd moves to the inside, using his forearm to control distance and movement, Floyd gets in the pocket and starts to attack the head and body simultaneously. This is today the best part of Floyd's game!!

Most opponents want to fight Floyd on the inside but after getting beat and tamed on the outside they get outworked on the inside to. A notable exception was Cotto and Castillo who could hold their own when Floyd went inside. Floyd was then forced to go to plan B. The Maidana fight was so sloppy and foul oriented not sure how to categorize it but even then Floyd tamed the Wildman.

Some notable fighters who got worked by Floyd inside and out:

    Hatton
    Marquez
    De La Hoya
    Judah
    Alvarez
    Mosley
Chavez (excellent fight back in the day)

Erislandy Lara loss on the cards to Canelo because he has no inside game, Floyd don't have that problem....you can't rob Mayweather because he wins both sides of the game, offense and defense, inside and out...that's boxing!!

The biggest reason is because his punches land flush where the judges can clearly see them landing. Meanwhile, his defense allows him dodge and deflect many shots, and many of the ones that do land are glancing blows or are shots that he rolls. It's relatively rare that Floyd gets hit flush.

So when you're hitting guys clean and not gettting hit clean, it's hard to drop a decision.

Yep, When Floyd lands it is crisp and clear, everybody can see it, its a wonder why other fighters landed shots are so muddled

Exactly, well said. Too bad there are idiots out there that are comparing Lara, who only throws two punches(one twos), to Mayweather.

keep feeding on bums, washedups, drained, out of weight class: winning decisions is actually a disappointment.

    pac retired bums and washedups.

He dominantly wins decisions because he soundly meets the full scoring criteria for a pro boxing match.

    Clean punching
    Effective aggressiveness
    Ring generalship
    Defense

He dominates so clearly that when a judge even attempts to rob him "he/she" is run out of the sport. CJ Ross scoring the Maweather-Alvarez fight a draw is actually impossible. The only consensus is that she must have been paid off...Canelo demonstrated dominance in none of the four categories
