no mate Scott would have been 140lbs before his dinner the night before the fight lol We used to call him the inflatable man
Cool Billy. It must have been a great experience been involved with Scott because it was a pleasure for me following and supporting him. Cheers Billy :good
Tell me Billy is not putting on so much weight in 1 day not bad for you? I see Tony Bellew said that he lost 18ib in 16 hours before weigh in v Cleverly, is that even possible? Do a lot of boxer use laxatives to make the weight?
Moog I would say in 90% of cases putting so much weight on would be so wrong but in Scott we had a bit of a freak of nature and he performed when bulked up, however at times Scott looked as though he was getting tired in the lSt few rounds of his fights and that alone was a sign to move up IMO With regards to Tony having to lose so much weight if that's the case it is ridiculous really, however I would then have to question the BBBofC they have inspectors taking fighters weight leading up to there fight and they need to be a certain percentage over, so 18lb in 16 hours is excessive. But I'd love to know how he done in I will do it for 2 days lol
Lol. He said it on interview with Kugan Cassius on IFL after fight. I was wondering about board, would also ask questions of his trainers at the time, as their meant to put fighters wellbeing at top of priorities. I have always wondered if it was there idea or his to fight at light heavy, as how u can be an amateur at HW and go down to 12.7 in pros I don't know. I think he will prob win a world title at CW, but if he had spend his entire career at that weight think he would have been a long running champ.
tony is an excellent fighter who punches real hard and is exciting to watch. However when he turned pro CW was Essen has an exciting division I'd say, so the big guy got down worked hard and got two world title fights, saying that going up to cruiser will IMO be much better for Tony and I'd love for him to win a title
so would I. I think the fact he is always vulnerable helps make him exciting, great to see the Real Bombs now. Think he punches harder than a lot of Heavyweights. Bellew is 6/5 with Bet Victor to beat Clev, fancy it strongly, great odds
I watched the same interview moog , surely thats utter bull**** and aslo his ringside interview on sky saying to cleverly he was dead on the scales when he beat him , if thats the case why did he have 6 fights at LHW prior to clev fight , Bellew spues some amount a shite imo man
I think he is exaggerating I must say. I actually thought he beat Clev, and I think he will lay him out this time
Agrree on the ko , bellew looks strong at the weight whilst clev looks as if hes shitting himself from every punch
He is, that's why his legs are wider apart that a prostitutes every time he gets within a few feet of his opponent.
