Hate for Canelo is unreal and off the charts

The old saying was that he was fighting cans...goes on to fight Trout, Money, Angulo and Lara, at 22-23 fuking years old.

Who at that age had a legit resume like Canelo?

These aren't just great fighters, they're great fighters who make an opponent look ugly in the ring.

People complaining about Canelo not being able to cut the ring and him hitting air are talking as if Lara had cat like reflexes and bobbed and weaved, used head movement or anything impressive like that, ...no, it's simply because Lara would run, or jump back too much, something I could have done for Christ sake. Throw me in the ring with Canelo and I would have done the same to survive I suppose.

The truth is that Lara wanted nothing to do with Canelo's power, knowing that if he didn't run, it would look like Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor out there.

I can understand the dislike, because frankly, some athletes just won't be likable to some, but I don't agree with not giving this young kid credit.

He beat Trout

He lost to Mayweather

He beat Angulo

He beat Lara

Now I want to see this kid fight Cotto and Kirkland, surely two warriors that will behave like real men and box inside the ring, not run away and cry after the fight.

I like Canelo, I don't hate on him, but I just saw him losing against Lara. I feel bad for the lazy cuban guy.

It's not hate saying that Canelo lost to Lara. It's the truth. He is still a good fighter and a star, but he has flaws in his game. It's not hate to talk about this.

It's not his fault that the blind judge scored it 117-111 for him (or the draw of the Mayweather fight). But something smells wrong here and it is not hate to say it.

 

I thought halfway through the fight Lara would end up taking it but it seemed when he started taking bodyshots his plan was to hightail it in the mid rds and it lost him the fight.

For everyone that hates on Canelo realistically if he would have won vs Lara and Trout 7-5 on all cards instead of by the margin he did on some cards nobody would have a problem with it. A 7-5 fight in most cases is a very close fight Lara was supposed to win every rd according to some yet he only could pull off a razor close decision that he lost. Hater keep catching that L Trout, Angulo, Lara.

Canelo is a bad ass who gives the fans the best fights yet people still hate him. It's just natural for men to hate other men who are younger/richer/better looking than them.

It might also be so many people saying he was a cherry picking bum for so long that now that he steps up and his gas tank improves they still can't fathom giving the guy credit.
