Weightlifting for Boxing - What to...

    Virus have you boxed?

    What to avoid with weightlifting? Probably high volume routines to try and gain weight and a lot of muscle mass - anything from bodybuilding.com basically. Other than that, you will get stronger, or faster or prevent injuries or increase work capacity or resilience and that's that. Even isolation exercises can be helpful, just not done as the center of your focus.

    The only reason you threw out this challenge is because I'm on another ****ing continent. I'm not going to fly half way around the world to spar against a nobody, Internet tough guy that is utter shite at boxing, why would I do that? :huh

    Haven't you got a heavy bag to slap or another match to lose? Seriously, is this how low your self esteem has gotten, challenging randomers on the internet to boxing matches because you think they don't box so you'll have a chance?

    Virus, sorry if I missed it, but have you competed as a boxer, had some fights? Just curious. Not sure if you've mentioned it before over the years. I see this forum is still a massive bitchfest. You might have missed my comment in all the haterz.
