Quigg still without an opponent

When is the date im sure they have got someone lined up but i dont think it will be anyone to risky as they have LSC and Frampton in their sites.

 

Eddies been going on abuot these for months now though. He has to back it up by making one of these fights. Instead i reckon now it will be a 'tune up' in preparation...basically making Quigg hang around while he attempts to get LSC or Frampton without any real idea if they are near to coming off.

I think Hearn and McGuigan have quite big egos and dont want to budge enough yet on either side for that one to happen.

 

It will be another patsy from South America whilst Frampton gets ready for his real world title shot on home soil...I would still like to know why Hearn doesn't seem to be getting questioned about is lack of interest/ability to beat McGuigan to get the Martinez fight for his kid?

Wonder if Hearn doesnt want to upstage McGuigans bid so it doesnt sour things further between them and scupper any chance of Frampton v Quigg in the future?

 

Given we dont know the details of McGuigans bid we dont know Eddie would have made a loss on it if he had outbid him.

I do think it was more to do with the potential politics regarding future fights though obviously i could be wrong on that one. Either way, Quiggs been hanging around for ages now and by the looks of it his opp wont be of the class we or he wants.

 

Do you reckon Eddie stepped aside knowing a match up between Quigg and Frampton will be bigger if both have a belt?

 

Also another likely scenario, thats why i think its the politics as to why Hearn never went for Martinez too hard

Yes but just because Frampton said so, doesnt mean anything. People rubbish Eddies quotes of making 'big offers' yet assume everyone else is being honest when they announce theirs.

In fairness it might be a career high for Martinez but we dont know if Hearn could have matched it and he could have stacked an undercard to sell it as well.
