Il break this down simply for you what if what fight makes more money frampton-Martinez or Martinez-quigg? It's frampton Martinez by a country mile Therefore Barry can offer Martinez a much larger payday than Eddie and still make a profit. If Eddie was to try and outbid Barry he would lose money because quigg Martinez can't make enough money to be able to compete with Barry's bid Also you have the fact that quigg is a 'world champion' and still isnt a big draw or making big money Is frampton gets the belt he could probebly sell 20000-30000 tickets 4 times a year and create ridiculous amounts of profit so the benefits for Barry of the frampton Martinez fight greatly out weigh the benifits for Hearn of a kiko quigg fight You do understand economics right? People rubbish eddies big offers because time and time again no one accepts them If he stacked the card he would have further lost money, frampton doesn't need to stack cards and when has Eddie actually stacked a card properly, even the wembley caRd wasn't amazing
world champions should be fighting fellow world champions end of , also any up and coming fighter should also be aspiring to fight world champions tis what kills boxing im afraid , want an apprentiship be a mechanic
Why are you explaining something i have said already? We dont know the bid Barry made so you dont know if Eddie could have outbid him. Kiko v Quigg makes less than Frampton v Quigg-erm yes as i alluded to earlier saying Eddie doesnt want to scupper that fight... As for Eddies offers and Framptons claims, both taken with a pinch of salt.
Can you not get this into your head, it wouldn't have made economic sense for Eddie to have outbid barry, he would lose money on the event, and Eddie is a smart business man are you trying I tell me that you think his an idiot who's out to lose money ?
As Joe Jnr said Eddie Hearn is not prepared to lose money and invest in his fighters etc which I have been saying and exactly what FW was going on about the other day but I don't want to get into that again.. The fact is it's clear kiko Martinez and his IBF title was available in the marketplace - no real politics/mandatory crap involved which is usually the case and despite all of that the self proclaimed 1 promoter in the UK and in control of the best platform for boxing he was quite happy for little Barry Mcguigan on (the non viable little channel) to deliver the goods and get his man the shot on home soil...instead as Mufc said and I agree with this he will bide his time and let Barry do all the hard work and put in the investment in the hope he can do a deal for Frampton-Quigg...Well If that is the best deal for Frampton/MCGuigan then fair enough but if it isn't then I for one hope they go another route and fcuk Hearn off- after putting in the investment to get Martinez over they would deserve the support from ourselves to do as they wish
Thing I don't understand is that Hearn think the quigg fight will happen in England , when frampton is by far the bigger draw and can sell out football stadiums, the fight will obviously happen in belfast
It's going to be a difficult negotiating process for sure. Assuming Carl wins against Kiko he's already a major star at home capable as you say of selling out big arenas in Ireland- in fact I would reckon he also would have a bigger following in England then Quigg. With the belt and his obvious marketability frampton could go on to make mega money either with home defences or if the Americans come calling so what does Quigg bring to the table..?that WBA belt is a joke..the only think Hearn can offer IMHO is A joint promotion on Sky box office..the money that could generate might be enough to get McGuigans attention.
You're too focused on trying to troll me than understand what I'm saying, not tht it's hard, so do us both a favour and be quiet. Cheers. One last go...I said it didn't make sense for Eddie t go for it,but you don't know for a fact he couldn't have beaten Barry's bid. It wasnt disclosed so you couldn't,therefore you don't know who can have beat it.
Eddie has put his fighters in title fights though and gave them the chance at a belt. For me he is failing Quigg now,he needs a legit title shot and waiting around for Frampton brings no guarantees while his career lies inactive. Thing is as he isn't a massive home draw maybe LSC and Kiko see him as too high risk for the reward (not a huge risk but More so the Low reward for winning). Maybe as part of a stacked card it would entice them? Frampton v Quigg isn't ppv alone though,no chance.
your just completely ******ed, im pretty sure since eddie is stuck for an opponent now after previously promising to outbid for martinez that he would be out in the media complaining about martinez taken less money to aviod quigg wouildnt he? but your a troll anyway, has eddie ever put on a show on propose where his lost money?
Quigg would need to pick up a belt first. Can't see him getting past Rigo or LSC to collect it though.
true , quigg needs to get a real belt and stop being a paper champion, fight rigo and become the real wba champion
If Frampton wins in September Eddie will have to swallow his pride and make the fight on Frampton and Barry's terms, They will hold every single card in nagotiations, The real and respected world title, that belt won't mean **** to Frampton or Barry, The drawing power, ticket sales everything favors Carl. It's about options and big fights, Carl Frampton if he wins is in a big sell out fight regardless of the opponent, Quigg only get's attention when takling about Frampton, The only big fight Quigg will have is Frampton, Zero other big fights for him. LSC isn't going to fight Scott Quigg, just bluster from Hearn and the deluded Gallagher, LSC won't risk loosing to some unkown nobody in Quigg. I bet if Frampton beats Kiko the LSC would be a very strong possibility. Hearn keeps talking about doing 2 fights, Frampton can tell him to **** himself about Manchester, why would Frampton have to go to Quigg's back yard Scott should go to Belfast sells a stadium their. Basically without Carl Frampton Quiggs career is going nowhere and Hearn deep down knows this, All talk about getting Kiko or LSC, come September 13th it will be Quigg vs some nobody and Gallagher and Hearn begging Frampton for the fight in the post interview.
LSC would never come to England for Quogg and Hearn wouldn't even try for it anyway- Scott would have to go to the US for that. As for Kiko if Hearn offered the same or more money then McGuigan then I'm certain his team would have gone for that rather then go back to face Frampton who already sparked him out. I think Frampton will be PPV pretty soon - he has that star quality and if it had a real good undercard that would seal the deal IMO..I honestly can't see how financially it could work without BOx office Frampton would need paying big time
true if frampton wins than he holds all he cards, barry wont even have to pay quigg anywhere near as much as kiko as quigg will have no other options
