No denying Pacquiao is great

    A lot of you probably think I'm a Pacquiao-hater, I AM NOT. I enjoy Pacquiao and was happy to hear he'd be fighting until 2016. I also have no problem with people who claim him to be an ATG or P4P #1 (that's a stretch but debatable). You can make a pretty decent case for him being rated higher than or equal to Floyd. But here's where I get confused: why do people have to bring Floyd down just to bring Pacquiao up? If Pacquiao is so great, why do his followers have to go everywhere talking about Floyd? I know there are some Floyd followers that do this, but the reverse is much more apparent.

    They're both great fighters, and neither one of them would be as popular without the other. Both are ATGs, I can't say where they rank though. Both use catchweights, both use stipulations, both have ducked fighters. Can't we just appreciate both of them while they are active? This is history in the making.

    the thing is, you don't know how great.

    pac was already a legend before you ever heard of him. (dlh fight i'm guessing)

    lol, we're being kind in calling the Marquez fight a CW. It was even worse than a CW as he reneged at the last moment to his benefit and to the detriment of his opponent.

    I think some Pac fans actually just worry about there fighter but THERES TO MANY *******S As they say that just wanna talk about Floyyd! **** dont make no sense, if ur not a fan then whatever but to say ur a Pac fan but only talk about Floyd is just a bunch of BS and ppl know it.

    I used to be a Pac fan but hes played to many games and hes not serious about fighting the best anymore so im over it. But I still know hes an ATG, *******s know Mayweathers an ATG and just try to bring him down all the time. really ridicilous and its not just fourms, Pac fans u talk to face to face but running they mouth.

    don't make it seem like floyd is so innocent...floyd was calling hamed out for a catchweight fight from way, way back. he was also demanding rehydration clause against a certain fighter.

    This is the perfect example as to why people will elevate Manny and tear down Floyd ! Floyd fans seem like pathological layers I mean here you have a post saying that Manny refuses to,fight the best but yet he just fought one of the best welters meanwhile Floyd on the other hand does the opposite !

    This is why this debate never ends because of ignorant comments like this !

    And Pacquiao demanded Mosley fight at 143 or 144, but they fought at 147. So who cares?
