You read your second sentence and take care man. This is not a kindergarten or a Child's playground. You r entitled to express freely your opinions but you can't say something like that. Deontay is ranked number 1 by the WBC and it is about the WBC title held by Bermane Stiverne we're talking about, not transnational rankings or stuff. Actually someone started this thread suggesting Deontay to step aside and leave room to follow a new quest for the WBA Title alongside with guys like Perez and Jennings. Well, he doesn't need to, the WBC is not the sole property of Don, Bermane and Haiti. But time will tell and Bermane will have to give his mandatory a shot.

King does seem to be very hesitant in making this fight. he said after Stiverene beat Arreola that the Heavyweight scene was back, so you would have thought he'd make this fight and get the hype going. but no, nothing. that says a lot if you ask me. if he truly thought that Stiverne would win, he'd make it in a heart beat because there is interest in this fight, but he's stalling.

King isn't confident in his fighter retaining his title.

Bermane should tell King to get this fight signed now. stop messing around and get it made. or maybe, Stiverne wants this fight as much as King seems to... which is not at all.

looks like the Heavyweight division is as **** as it's always been for years. nothings changed. King is still the same scum bag who shouts from the rooftops but with nothing to show for that mouth.

Wilder is probably a legit top 15-20 guy with potential to be much higher ranked (by consensus opinion). Now many already rank him top 10, but a real #1 contender he is not....yet.
If he beats Stiverne he will have earned a right to a top 3 ranking though.
My beef is with his team who have not developed Wilder properly.
Time will tell how much of an impact this will have on his future.

    Good post.

I agree that Wilder is a fringe top 10, just a solid fight away from driving home the point. He doesnt need this WBC title to be top 5, and he'll only be top 5 with it.

with Hayes imminent return, Potvetkins beautiful comeback win over Charr(and more to come), Glaskov getting busy, I don't think a quick KO win over Stiverne would get Deontay in the top 3.

He'd need to beat the proven top 3 in Wlad, Potvetkin, or Haye, or possibly #4,#5, or #6 to earn top 3 status, and that would be Pulev, Glaskov, and Helenius.

And Fury will likely break into the top 5 when he beats Chisora at the end of the month......Wilders gonna need to win and defend that title to cement himself in the top 3.

Deontay Wilder has awesome one-punch KO power.

He'll find Stiverne's chin, wait and see.

It probably won't be for awhile, though - Stiverne will avoid him for as long as he can.

This actually helps stiverne, wilders not going to take a keep busy fight and if he does it will be against some really **** fighter that won't last a minute

Meaning wilder will be going into the stiverne fight with only 2 minutes of ring time in a year and a half

Will he turn out to be as inactive as other Don King fighters from the last decade?
