I think people are starting to see that this guys record of 100% KO's is not as good as it seems. The boxrec warriors of ESB are obsessed because he has a fantastic record on paper, but boxrec warriors are not real boxing aficionados. Those of us who have dug deeper into the world of Ali Raymi have seen him for what he really is; a reasonably good fighter who has faced very poor opposition.

Raymi has never faced any real challenge. He has shown he has the skills to potentially mix it up with the top 10 of his division, but right now he is no more than a Gary Russell Jr. before Lomachenko.

I guess people are making a mockery of this lack of quality opposition and due to his streak of 1st round knockouts, jesting that he is the greatest ever. How about we give the guy some credit? No matter the opponent, the record is at least somewhat impressive.

Let's give Ali Raymi a chance to mix it up in the top 10, grab some lesser belts, and really try to make it happen. Then we can judge him.

Raymi's latest victory is tainted, Prince Maz is a natural superbantam Rayami and his team made Maz come down 11pounds. Just because Raymi is the A side of the promotion doesn't mean he should make those sort of demands.
