It's pretty obvious that Golovkin and his people have no interest in fighting Ward. They said you can't duck a guy that isn't in your division. And you know what, I do agree with that. Golovkin is a MW. The expectations of him are to fight top MWs. So if he doesn't want to go up to 168 and fight Ward, I'm ok with that.

Yes, I am Russian speaking guy. In one of his interview in russian language, Golovkin said it is fans who wants this fight, not him.

I think Ward is technically superb for Gennady.

Also he admitted he would like to meet Mayweather or Hopkins though.

Actually Gennady has big fight against Daniele Geale, who American fans usually underestimate. But this guy is very slick and clever boxer with amateur pedigree, most importantly he is trained by Australian National team coaches for this fight (not by former builder) and sparred against young undefeated prospects. I believe he can bring upset, no need for Ward slickness.

******s taking broken English from guy who barely speaks it off the cuff as something noteworthy like "look look what I found omg!!11!one!1eleven"

Look at the end of video where he is asked about other opponents and he again says "too much, just.. too much for me I have fight in front of me"

What he meant in regards to Ward question, taking his other responses into account and putting it in context is - he is not about to talk about making other fights when he has a fight in front of him. He has always been like that.

Ward can be inactive for 2-3 more years and GGG's resume will still be the same, weaker than Ward's.

Doubtful, absence makes the heart grow fonder and resumes seem shinier. If GGG does the business on Geale the only thing separating their resumes will be Ward's career defining ugly decision over Froch.

Unless you want to count Ward draining Dawson down to 168.. in which case I am sure GGG would be happy to drain Ward down to 160 and fight at any time. Which Ward has already said "no way" to doing that. :conf
