Best defensive trainers in the UK?

    In my opinion a lot of its more like fencing so it completely different kind of defense in my view.People are nor necessarily throwing with hurtful intentions so someone who looks adequate defensively at this level could be found lacking at the next level and not be as good as might think defensively.

    Well to be fair going undefeated for 6 years and winning world titles in that period, your defense can't be to shabby!

    As much as it pains me to say this, Darren Hamiltons ear muff defense has been pretty effective on the Domestic Level.

    He Gets spanked at world level though

    Larry' the natural' ekundayo has one of the best UK defenses.


    but since u comparing to the US....larry' the standard ' ekundayo

    John Ryder's trainer is Colin Lake, not a Sims, either Peter or Tony. The latter is his manager. Lake is pure class.

    Tony Sims is now Johns trainer/manager. Colin L\ke and John Ryder terminated there partnership at the turn of the year

    Yeah he was unbeaten but the only reason he kept winning is because he is a hard ******* not many men on the planet could of taken that beltran beating he was trading with a broken jaw for 30 mins, seriously tough cookie but shite defence

    yeah, it was on the cards for a while, im sure it is common knowledge. watch Ryders interview with James Helder from the matchroom BBQ day. he mentions it in there

    in 6 years Ricky's defence was watertight tell me a fight were he was hurt all be it he was off balance when Martinez dropped him,he never even got marked in 20 fights so do your homework ballbag
