hed give any of our domestic boys trouble,I'm not making excuses for Ricky's performance but that guy was a decent fighter.
What I will say is there no orthodox LW in UK to touch Ricky you will see a massive difference Sept I believe and hope

Billy 100% Ronnie would beat Zlaticann and so would Terry Flannigan. Styles make fights but Zlaticann was very one paced with what he done . I think Ricky used to be more effective with pressure fighters but not so much in the last few fights. I think with pressure Ricky just covers up well and was good defensively. I think there is some wholes in that now. I think He tries to attack and please the crowd. He should fight Darren Hamilton in his next fight then big fight end of the year v Willie Limond. I think he wins both quite easily then a top ten light welter in the World it isn't that strong of a division.. I don't think he should fight. Scott it will be a bit of a sideshow

Burns is not the same fighter now as he was then though. I all so find it funny that you give Ricky a pass for losing to southpaws, but Scott doesn't get any. I mean Liam Walsh was every bit as good if not better than Zlaticanin.
Burns needs Harrison especially if he wants to fight in Scotland in front of big crowds again. Not unless Ricky wants to become an away fighter from now on fighting in Hull or Liverpool or whatever. Burns won't be able to fill the Braehead out never mind the Hydro if it's not against Harrison. Just look at Ricky's last crowd against Zlaticanin, so you're wrong.

In almost 9 years, Scott has had 3 fights.

Miszei who now has a record of 19W, 10L and 0D.
Joe Elfidh who has lost his last 4 (which includes Scott).
Walsh who comfortably beat him in a one-sided UD.

I would love to see the bookies odds on this fight (Harrison).

Ricky would be 1/4 or even shorter imo.

The Harrison-Walsh fight was a lot closer than the Burns-Zlaticanin fight.
Scott might want Ricky for the payday, but if Ricky wants his best payday out there and to fight in front of big crowds in Scotland again then he needs Scott Harrison.
To be honest I'm not to bothered if the fight does go ahead now because it's a bit of a farce especially with this catch weight nonsense. If the fight does go ahead then it should be billed "The fall from Grace" Harrison's problems outside the ring have been well documented, but at the end of the day the only man to beat Scott was himself. Ricky lost it inside the ring.

Good fight for Ricky to get his confidence back and good for Scott to earn a few quid.
In my opinion Ricky would stop scott who hasn't carried his power up to lightweight.
Don't think Scott would give any of the top domestic boys any trouble and would risk getting stopped by burns simply taking to much punishment.

Doesn't matter what level anyone believes he's at. He would of beat Zlaticann. I'm 100% sure of that he was slow and very predictable throwing the same punch over and over that would never hit Ronnie. Zlaticann is certainly not a better fighter than Any of those 3 southpaws. Looking at the Zlaticann fight do you believe Ricky would beat Walsh/ Flannagan?

davie your on the Jamaican woodbine again stop it
Zlaticann was an accomplished amateur and 18 undefeated as a pro, Ronnie has fought one decent fighter in his life and got a draw, there isn't even any comparisons in there respective careers, like it or not Zlaticanin will be world top 10 at LW, Ronnie creeps into UK top 10 at SFW and isn't even seen as Scotland's No1 yet

Watching the fight with Ricky he didn't seem very good at all.. Will see how good soon enough.. He's fighting Troy on the 27th September. Rankings and ratings are nothing when you get in the ring and styles make fights..

It's the classic 'inactivity has improved his ability' case, as I've said before the guys a bum now, was good at one point but there's so many more out there who'd beat him who wouldn't have been seen as having nowhere near enough talent to spar him in his peak. Should just give it up and look for another path to go down

Is it true Ronnie ran amok with Ricky in sparring? I heard Ricky got attacked by a shark.
