Ahhhh all the manny sleep number pics that were made.
The way his unconscious image was superimposed everywhere was the best.
Sometimes I wish we can turn back the hands of time and just continually relive that moment.

Sometimes when I'm bored at work, after reading some of boxing-master delusional threads, I get on YouTube and watch the reaction to the ko videos

There was one where it was a wrestling game ad the Dudley Boyz picked Manny's lifeless body up and were about to slam him lol

 

We bought the fight at our house and the fam and I were watching it, I was extremely excited and happy, obviously me and the fam were screaming and yelling going crazy, after that first knockdown for some reason I told everybody Marquez was going to finish him off, I was right...

 

Man I couldn't imagine this forum on that night

 

I was at a restuarant/bar with my wife...place was packed by the the time the main event was on. I recognized one of the hardcore fans I'd met just weeks before at a fried fish spot. We talked boxing when we were waiting for our fish orders. The night of the fight, he walked by our table and said "Marquez won't leave it to the judges this time. He is gonna knock Pac out." I said "well he is gonna have to, because, he is not getting a decision." But, I did not really expect anything except the usual competitive affair.

Then the first KD happened...he looked back at me and said "told you." I was buzzed by that time and said something like "you might be right...wtf?" After that people started really crowding around the bar area, focused on the fight. When KTFO6 happened people were literally shouting and jumping up and down, others were in complete shock. My wife and I were like "oh ****!" The hardcore cat made his way over gave me dap and said..."what I tell you?...now, lemme go pick up my money!" I said "damn, you are a prophet...haha", or something like that. It was a great fight and a memorable event.

I checked this forum the next day and indeed it was like the A-bomb had been dropped. Several pro Pac fans who'd flooded these boards with Floyd hate and Pac is the GOAT threads, since 2010, had disappeared never to return. There was peace for a time. Then Pac beat Rios...and here we go again. Lol.

 

Home watching it with my dad. Crazy fight.

 

It was crazy.

I think the quality of the fight, and the way it unfolded took everyone by surprise and left everyone on the edge of their seat as they wondered what was going to happen next. And it showed in the way that everyone was posting that night.

I was actually going to go out and watch the fight at a sports bar, but came down with a bug that weekend and decided to stay at home, take it easy, and then get some much needed shut eye once the fight ended. But after watching the KO take place (and then posting just before the site crashed) I proceeded to head to the local pup for a night-cap, 'cause I knew damned well I wasn't gonna get any sleep any time soon after what had just occurred.

I actually wasn't that stunned because of the first KD.

Fight just had so much tension and thought it could end at any minute.
