50-0 has been done before. World title at 50 hasn't.

Whats impressive is the level of opposition what Bhop is facing now that he is 50. He fights everyone, unlike floyd, and chases after tough opponents. A true G

a fighter's career should never be judged on belts he has won or his record for me, since a fighter's record can easily be 'manipulated' the level of opposition faced, and the fact that having a belt is cheapened because there are so many of them

Hopkins and Floyd are clearly greats of the sport though

Floyd is by far the greatest undefeated fighter of all time, with the greatest resume out of all of them. BY FAR.

50-0 would be a marvellous achievement, which nobody would be able to replicate.

Facing that kind of opposition and going 50-0? Absolute ATG stuff, top 10-15.

how important do you think Floyd's record is without that pacman fight 4-5 years ago?
you can't say someone is an "absolute ATG...top 10-15" when Floyd played a major role in that fight not being made

He is still far ahead of Pac in the atg rankings...... if he had that Pac win (Which he should have had had Pac not ducked him), it would be amazing.

Pac's resume is ruined for ducking that fight... and there will be an asterisk on it...

    His best win.

Still, he is a top 20-25 ATG fighter ATM.

it doesn't matter if pac's fans rate pac higher, or Floyd's fans rate Floyd higher - the fact is that they BOTH played their part in that fight not happening, and the legitimacy of both as one of the greatest fighters of all time has to suffer because of it

they were the best fighter and best boxer of their era, and a fight between them would have been for the undisputed best of their era, they both would have got insanely rich, and the fight would have destroyed all PPV records - but in the end the fight wasn't made because neither fighter wanted to risk it all
that's how Floyd and pac will be remembered when it comes to the biggest fight of their lifetime, and that will stop both being ranked alongside the absolute best

Hopkins fighting at 50 by far and away. Hell Valuev was almost going to make it to 50-0 getting gift decisions, fighting carefully selected opponents and barely showing anything special other than a freakish physique.
