Either your not serious or not knowledgable ...

Ali wrote at length about what a murderous puncher Frazier was ..

Foreman wrote that Lyle was the hardest puncher he ever fought .. you use the faulty KO percentage angle to boot as well .. no one is saving Lyle was an excellent fight but he was a he puncher ...

Had the rest of his career contained no KDs or KO losses either - it would have meant something. How many other hw titlists or champions in history can you name who were never KD-ed or KO-ed?

Frazier had to land lots and lots of punches to KO his opponents. That's a sign of mediocre punching power. I don't care a F--k what some loud-mouth like Ali said. Foreman was a guy who talked a lot of silly things during and after his career as a commentator. Either way, Lyle's stats are more representative of what kind of puncher he was, he may have had a punch, but his set of tools to deliver it (accuracy, timing, handspeed, feints to land a punch that would be unexpected) was rather mediocre.

    Mendoza's statement:
"Without a doubt, Ali fought better punchers, and had his chin tested more often by harder punchers who landed some of their best stuff."
You have to separate "better punchers" and "harder punchers", they are different people in many cases. So, no, I'm not saying that Carnera was a bigger (harder) hitter than Lyle.

To make the difference between "good" and "hard" puncher more clear... Example of poor puncher, who was a hard hitter - Eric Butterbean Esch.

You are not knowledgable , and are dumb and naive.

I do not care how much Ali and Mirena praise Sonny Banks.

Lyle did not try to land anything big on Ali.
Probably another staged show for your likes.
Probably a Republican or a Tea partier, are you not?

He was pulled out of drug rehab 2 weeks before the fight... fvcking Don King! The fight was for the vacant WBC belt (Tyson had vacated it after winning it from Bruno, who had beat McCall, who had beat Lewis) and Lewis was ready with Manny Steward in his corner. Manny had been in McCall's corner when he beat Lewis btw. McCall had George Benton but he was in not in the right mental condition for a fight of this nature.

    V. Klitschko, McCall, and Valuev were never knocked down.

Only 3 lineal were never stopped- Tunney, Marciano, and Bowe.

Toney, Ibragimov, Valuev, and Povetkin were also never stopped.

Yeah, but Mccall was also crying on the way to the rig in their first fight. Weird guy.
In summary - cokeheads are unpredictable.
