Is this the same Geale who Darren Barker beat? how is he any threat to GGG or a step up? (small step maybe) he is still unproven after this fight because he will win easily by ko

Which MW does he have to beat for you to consider him proven?

Barker got dropped by Geale and in truth was fortunate to get the decision.

GGG should easily dispose of Geale.

He is the stronger, better fighter.

But... He is one of the first proper 160 pounders GGG has faced.

He might just survive the storm for a few rounds until GGG breaks him down and knocks him out.

Most don't consider him a threat to Golovkin, but he's one of the highest ranked MW's out there. I don't consider any MW to be a threat for GGG at the moment since the demise of Maravilla.

But it's one of the fights out there for him so he can prove he's one or two levels above anyone in his weightclass.

The fight against Barker was a robbery.

I had Geale winning by a rd, but Barker fought his heart out and got the nod.

It was a close fight. More than 1 rd either way woulda been a robbery.:think

Geale got over excited to be in America on US TV, Barker's power didn't affect so he went all out. Lost on points slightly, he won't fight GGG the same way.

How do you know how well a healthy Barker would fare against GGG, Barker has always been underrated, his loss to Sturm was because of his hip, his only legit loss was to Martinez who in his prime would have beaten GGG.
