More impressive: Floyd 50-0 or Hop fighting @ 50?

Hopkiins by far, what he is doing is pretty sick. Floyd hasn't impressed me in years, except for the money he is making

Floyd's 50-0 would be a lot more impressive than any other fighter who has achieved the mark, Floyd has fought the highest level of competition for a long time and has remained dominant and undefeated. That is no easy feat please dont belittle this, we will likely never see this type of talent again for a long time.

yes it would be the best 50-0 ever and probably will never be matched for the rest of boxing history. Thats great and Bhop being the man at 50 is great. both are awesome...if i had to pick it would be bhop but thats no diss to Floyd at all

Had Floyd not ducked Pac (and the overwhelming majority of the boxing world believe he did), and had he won ( reasonable possibility, he would have been a slight favourite), he would have been in a position to crack the top 10.

After a Pac victory, he could have taken advantage of Sergio's decline to grab a MW title.


Both men have declined somewhat since 2010, but it appears that Pac's attacking style and greater fight frequency have taken a greater toll on him than Floyd's more cautious, less frequent track record.

So his fear of facing Pac could well have diminished over the past five years and with good reason.

As it stands, it's a bit late to add prime Pac to his resume, and without that career-defining fight, he's likely to be more remembered for something he didn't do than all the great things he actually did.

Depending on how his career finishes up, I see him cracking the 15 -25 range.

But had he been a bit more daring, he had the tools to scrape a top 10 spot.

Ya, beating a prime Pacqioua and even a faded version of Sergio would have cemented him in the top 10.....

I believe he'll make the Pac fight in May as the first of a 3 fight trilogy, but ending his career 48-3 aint bad.:think

 

Who would he have to beat to be in the 15-25 range, in your opinion?

I think some of his legacy depends on how Canelo does later on. If Canelo cleans out 154, then wins a title at MW, Floyd's win over him would look pretty good.

Right now, I see him in the 30-40 range. Maybe if he beats Khan, Thurman/Porter, Andrade, and rematches Cotto for the MW title, he'd be top 25-30.

But top 30 all time is still pretty damn good.
