Everyone case for Canelo winning is his bodyshots and that's about it , and the truth is his bodyshots were just not effective and not enough . He was outlanded and outboxed the majority of the fight .
Alvarez won, get over it. You can't win a fight moving around and only throwing one twos while your opponent is throwing power shots to the body. Lara was barely effective and sometimes he would move around without throwing anything. It was Alvarez who made the fight.

Lara outlanded Canelo by 10 whole shots and the majority of Lara's punches were flicking jabs with a few actual hard shots mixed in. Every punch Canelo hit Lara with was a power punch, there is a fine line between boxing and flatout refusing to engage and Lara did both. You make this arguement he made Canelo look worse than Mayweather did but Mayweather actually stood in front of Canelo, there was 7 ft between Lara and Canelo 60% of that fight the way Lara was backing up. If you make your opponent miss but don't do anything you don't win that rd by not doing anything, your opponent does for forcing the fight. Effective aggression comes into play when both fighters are throwing if only one guy is throwing anything it's called activity.

I scored to lara but I'm so glad they gave it to Canelo. I normally get wound up when I think the judges have got it wrong but laras performance really annoyed me. Was absolutely **** to watch.
