Regional titlists doesnt mean anything in the scheme of things and as far as heavyweights go, fringe b level could be classed as cans.

Swindell won 37 and lost 24 during his career, sounds pretty much like a journeyman

He needs to find Fury and throw a shoe at him.

    :good

Would be a nice scalp, but Briggs aint going to the UK for short change, and F-Wank aint gonna give him 100K to make the fight.

He'd probably do 50-60K, but he'd be paying Briggs way, and no one believes Briggs will fight for journeyman purse.

If F-Wank was going on with the show and Fury was game to fight a "replacement" Briggs would be as good a replacement as anyone, and actually the thought of the winner fighting Wlad aint altogether unappealing since Wlad would like nothing more than shitting the mouths of the 2 biggest talkers in the game.

Obviously Fury is one of the future strongholds of the division, and he'd be a better fight to make for Wlad, but if Briggs pulled it off, no one would ciritcize Wlad for fighting Briggs if he beat Fury.

It would be by faaaaaaaaaarr Briggs crowning achievement in boxing.:good

Briggs should jump at 50-60k at this point. It's a logical replacement good name recognition. This fight should be made.

How much was chisora getting? Briggs should get the same, it's already in the budget. If not 50, 60 k is nothing to scoff at considering its for a week. This isnt like the chagaev fight in Chechnya which was a spectacle. Briggs hasn't had a fight of this magnitude or pay in years, would be silly to price himself out.

The only loser here is Fury and for that alone I hope he takes a fight...any fight! He has age and a full training camp as an advantage on Briggs and Thompson, you would wonder if they are serious?? They'd have to be on a plane tomorrow if true....

They need to be on tonight's flight over there. Tomorrow would be a write off, but they'd have a good three days of prep.

no way fury takes anyone the least bit dangerous as a replacement. even as last minute subs, he only seeks out bums. odds are fury runs his mouth for a bit, then disappears into a bottle until he weighs 300 lbs plus again. expect another british showdown scheduled in about a year.
