Tyson bobbed and weaved out of uppercuts from 1985-88. Secondly he could take uppercuts as in it wouldn't stop him from coming forward. Thirdly it is unethical to hold and head butt in fights and to use anabolic steroids.

If you're trying to tell me Tyson was an angel in the ring, then give me a ****ing break. And Upper cuts would and could stop him (sorry to say you're hero isn't superman).

I'm actually the same age as they are so I've seen both move up the fighting latter since day one and unlike you, I'm not to say Tyson couldn't win, either fight could, but it would be no walk in the park for either fighter.

I will give you that Tyson had a hell of a chin, and even when Buster Douglas was beating the crap out of him he still fought like a warrior. But I'm not sure if the Lewis-Tyson fight would have lasted 8 rounds if Lewis hadn't hurt his hand.

How did Lewis hurt his hand? What kind of **** excuse is this? Lewis wouldn't have hurt his hand if he was punching some one else, the fight Miraculously lasted as long as it did because the other person had a hell of a chin and this was a boxer who was fighting at his absolute best vs another fighter at his absolute worst.

My only point was that it is incorrect to view tysons preformances, defeats after he left his best trainers and cornermen. These assertions that Tyson was weak against jabs, upper cuts is not true, he efficiently bobbed and weaved out of them efficiently. Watch his fights from 1985-88. Once he deserted the Bob and weave he became very easy to hit.

If you don't know Lewis hurt his hand during the fight then you really don't know **** about what you're talking about. End of story. And I've admitted Tyson had a hell of a chin but quite trying to spin facts you know **** all about.

That's what I am asking you, did Tyson foul to hurt Lewis hand? I know he hurt his hand but your claim about if Lewis hadnt broken his hand the fight would have ended sooner does not make sense, he hurt his hand landing shots on a stationary and dead guy. This is like me saying Lewis wouldn't have beaten a fast, ruthless, hungry and bobbing and weaving Tyson.

I recall when the world thought Tyson was invincible, I was around then and like I said I was the same age as Tyson (okay I'm 1 or 2's older) and yes he bobbed and weaved, and yes he had all kinds of speed, but he never was invincible.

I put four or five fights on an all time H2H list, Ali, Holmes, Lewis, Tyson, Foreman. As to who would win a round robin out of these fights it's anybody's guess. Ali probably has the best chance, but all cause stylistic nightmares for each other in some manner.

No he didn't foul to hurt his hand he hurt it punching Tyson in the head, and no he didn't break it, he just couldn't commit to it fully for a couple of rounds. My point is, had he not hurt it, his punches would have had a lot more power on them and the fight probably would have ended a few rounds earlier. But that's not to distract from the fact that Tyson had a hell of a chin, I really can't think of any fighter who could have taken those shots.

Just to correct, personally Tyson is my favorite fighter because I personally like sensational, entertaining and exciting fighters who are just box office. But I also agree he was not unbeatable and he did have his weaknesses against tall fighters.

His boxing style demanded eternal discipline, training in the gym and his continued success in the ring required professionalism on his part in terms of preparing for fights ie researching on his opponents and preparing the appropriate strategy against them. He was always going to be in big trouble once he let that professionalism go and when his natural gifts like speed, reflexes deserted him.

I would place him at no 10 of the all time list because of the way his career ended from 1990 onwards.

Lol. What's the guarantee that he wouldn't break his hand in another match against Tyson if his brittle hands couldn't cope with Tysons head?

Hand injuries are pretty common in boxing.

Especially when you have a weak chin to go with it.

He did pretty good for a guy with a weak chiin. He lasted against Golota, Tua, Tyson, Ruddock and Vitali, all good punchers, hell if he could have avoided those two punches he'd be undefeated. Can't say that about many fighters, certainly not Tyson.

To be honest, out of these, Ruddock and Golota never touched his chin. Tua and Tyson barely did it, too.

But Mercer, Holyfield, Briggs and Bruno landed some good shots.
