So with the show apparently selling very poorly, and with the politics involved do you feel this is a genuine injury to Chisora? Or has it been scrapped due to poor ticket sales?

Stated for months this was a Pork Hall fight and would not happen due to poor ticket sales.

Big Daddy also posted similar ages ago.

    This is Haye farce 2

Yeah but the purse for the main event would of been big, way bigger than **** ticket sales could cover

The most expensive fight in terms of purses isn't there anymore, but the punters have paid for the main fight and almost certainly won't get a refund

Can someone explain what happens to fighter purses in a situation like this?

If the card is pulled then its clearly not legit and FW etc deserve all the fire that comes his way on this occasion.

There should not be any reason either why a fairly decent opponent can't be found for Fury even if its a 2 round knock over. it's still a very good card if Fury is on with Gethin - Flannaghan/eubank Jnr, BJS etc

Trade wise it's a good card, commercially it isn't.

The days of Manchester being the boxing capital of Britain are long gone.

I attended the previous fight at Wembley and the crowd could have all gained entry to the smaller Pork Hall in Bethnal Green.

The Cuppa Box in the Olympic Park was big enough for what is simply the equivalent of Price v ***ton or Fury v Rogan.

It's a big pig farm in North London. Wárren likes to feed snorters to his prospects, but we aren't allowed to get into that here.
    Calzaghe learnt from the best.
