As an Aussie, I’ll definitely be barracking for Geale. I think this one comes down to whether Geale can take Golovkin’s best shots. Unfortunately, I don’t think he can. Either he runs his way to a late stoppage/decision defeat, or engages, pinches a few rounds, but ends up being stopped anyway.
That is a pretty good assessment. I think he can go the full 12. Something nobody else has managed. But the big question then becomes whether Geale can log enough rounds.
Yeah, that's pretty much it for me. I don't think he can get enough work done while avoiding Golovkin's best shots, which, as we all know, tend to end things pretty quickly.
