Haymon is a deal structuring deal maker.
Whatever you might think about Lara, well lara made $1M for that fight. Haymon is about to discard a million dollar fighter as quickly as you would.

Haymon might not discard him, but then again Haymon has no investment in Lara.

If the networks cannot make a profit off Lara then they are not going to invest in him.

Lara is one of Haymon's "clients".
he received a advisers fee from Lara from that fight as he would from advising Lara in his next fight.
he definitely has a vested interest.:yep

Ya but how is going to convince a network other than unimas, telemundo or tv azteca to put him on when he stinks up the joint? I'd be shocked if it happens. The guy has a big mouth and is toxic for tv ratings, people don't put up with clowns like that.

The media won't like Lara, especially because he didn't even want to give a proper post fight interview at the fist sign of skepticism regarding his view of the fight.

Reporter: "Mayweather did more than you"
    Lara: Bullchit! (walks away)

Laran was reconsidering his tactics as early as round 2. After feeling Canelo's bodywork, Lara changed his tactics to Olympic style running after round 3.:deal

Alvrarez's face looked pretty beat up from Lara's running. Lara must have ran over Canelo's face.

Canelo's pasty face gets bruised from facing a gust of wind, Lara's dark skin, on the other hand, can easily camouflage bruises, and yet his face looked pretty beat up from a guy who supposedly did not connect:conf

Canelo's "pasty face" looked better coming out of the Mayweather fight than this last fight. No one is saying that Alvarez didn't connect with Lara but to say that Lara just ran is being in denial when Lara actually landed more punches.

Lara did land, but not nearly enough to ***** about not getting the decision.

He also ran for the great majority of the fight. Only a blind person gets a pass for claiming otherwise.

If the fight can go either way then I have no problem with a fighter bitching that he lost. Fighters getting the crap beat of them sometimes think that they won. Although I thought Lara won, I can see where someone else can say that Alvarez won. Let's be honest here, it wasn't a dominating performance by either fighter.

It wasn't dominating by either fighter. The main factor in this was Lara's constant running away.

I think we can all agree that neither fighter dominated.

One of the salient points of commentary during the broadcast, was when one of the announcers(don't remember which one) pointed out early on that, "some people don't know how to score body-shots" and IMO that's exactly the case with a lot of those who claim they had Lara winning.
