1) Damaged goods. Shane beat that scrub. Put cracks in his orbital bone. Manny was the clean up crew.

Was a beasty fight for sure. PAC was on form for sure.

 

What I remember about this fight is Pacquiao cracking Margarito's orbital bone with the loaded handwraps he was allowed to get away with using.

Rolled up tape placed strategically between Pacquiao's fingers, creating a high hard ridge at each of his knuckles.
Robert Garcia argued vehemently that it was illegal.
The problem here was that Garcia was'nt present when Pacquiao wrapped his hands, he was present wrapping Margarito's while somebody from Margarito's camp was sent to oversee Pacquiao wrapping his.

The person assigned to watch Pacquiao from Margarito's camp must have informed Garcia about the high ridges as Garcia then protested but was turned down by the commision. The commision sighting that they should have protested while they were wrapping Pacquiao's hands and it was now to late.

How the commsion allowed Pacquiao to sport handwraps with high hard ridges at each knuckle is beyond ethical reason, but they allowed it and Pacquiao with one shot was able to do to Margarito's face what no other fighter had done before him, and Margarito had taken punishment from much bigger fighters than Pacquiao.

other than heavyweights, this is fight is probly the worst beating smaller man (5' 6.5" pac 148lbs) gave the bigger man (5' 11" margo 165lbs) in recent times on ppv.
