I'm not sure Cotto has a contract with Top Rank.

I think this one depends on what strategy Cotto goes with. If he elects to go blow-for-blow, I think he loses via decision/late stoppage; if he boxes, moves and trades in spurts, I think he can take a decision.

Like I said, this fight hype reminded me of Vargas v. Trinidad.... All the so call experts from ESB ....VARGAS WAS GOING TO DESTRY TITO....yet we all know how that movie ended...

And this movie, Canelo v. Cotto....I seen it, and know the ending....just as the Tito fight!

He doesn't. However, he did say that he's loyal to Top Rank and that he wants to finish his career with them.

so from 19 to 24 doesnt make a difference??
canelo could be fighting teens now since there is no difference...

Fighters get rocked all the time.

Canelo was cutting weight to make 147 and got caught by a seasoned vet. What impressed me about Canelo in the fight is how he handled himself when he got rocked. He showed calm and wisdom and then proceeded to beat the **** out of Jose Cotto.

Similar to when Miguel Cotto was rocked by Demarcus Corely who was outweighed by 17 pounds by Cotto. The light hitting Corley who weighed 140 at fight night while Cotto came in at 157 was able to almost KTFO Miguel but didn't know how to finish him and ended up losing. Similar to Canelo.

Canelo since has been in with some power punchers and has gotten tagged but never hurt.

The crazy thing about Corley is, despite his low ko %, he's rocked alot of guys. He had miguel, really, realy bad. I remember standing up watching, screaming at the tv.

Not saying that I agree with that troll, but I hate when people say "prove it". 98% of the time we can't prove **** lol. There are reasons to be suspicious, if there was proof, the discussion wouldn't be brought up this way. I don't think Cotto is suspicious either, by the way.

I think Cotto is just comfortable with his weight and Roach has trained him extremely well.
