    Willie Pep had over 250 matches and retired with 11 loses.

    Harry Greb had over 115 matches.

    joe Louis had 69 fights with 3 defeats

    Ask over 500 opponents these 4 greats defeated how easy it is to master the sweet science. :lol:

    They are snobs yes. They found a niche behind floyd and fell in line and do their best to look down on guys who like to see 2 guys beat the **** out of each other. It's a fukkin combat sport. Combat. It's not a dance contest...it's a fight. N don't start yapping at me about never being in a ring n blah blah blah. Your sad arguments mean nothing.

    Most of the guys who constantly get listed from the 10's and 20's nobody knows how good they were except for the people who saw them fight, and they have long been dead, most of them don't have enough or any newsreel footage that survived for anyone to give an accurate assessment of how good they were.

    Just because someone was first doesn't mean they were best.

    In fact much of the newsreel footage I've seen especially from Greb, they come across as if they are doing an impression of the Cowardly Lion, "Put em Up Put em Up". Many early fighters make Brandon Rios look skilled.

    By the way that list was put together by elitist know it all snobs. Citizen Kane regularly makes number 1 on most GOAT lists of film, yet ask 100 people walking down the street what their favorite movie is, I doubt any say Kane.
