This is all Ward haters have to go by

"He is not an active fighter"
"He stinks the place out"

    It's actually sad.

Well if that's the case, then there's no argument now is there?

It isn't a fair comparison when you look at both cards/factors to generating numbers

    1. GGG's card
Had an undercard/no competition vs a PPV card

    2. Ward's card
No undercard/stacked up vs a GSP card

Anyways, there isn't even conclusive evidence that GGG is even a higher draw.

The overall drawing numbers STILL favour Ward

And Adama numbers never surfaced due to HBO not showing that fight (Monte Carlo disputes)

Andre Ward attracted 1.3 million viewers to HBO for his win over Chad Dawson
Super middleweight Andre Ward had a big night on Saturday in more ways than one.

It was also a major gain for Ward from his previous fight, in which he decisioned Carl Froch on Dec. 17 in Atlantic City to win the Super Six World Boxing Classic title. According to Nielsen figures, the Ward-Froch fight on Showtime peaked at 580,000 viewers.

VENICE, CA - Boxing’s fastest rising star, middleweight world champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin continues to impress in-and -out of the ring with record numbers for his television ratings.

This week HBO announced that it’s “2Days: Gennady Golovkin” documentary feature surrounding Golovkin’s knockout victory of Gabriel Rosado on JANUARY 19 was the highest rated ever of it’s acclaimed series with over three million total viewers.

Additionally, record numbers of viewers watched across Europe and Asia as Golovkin dismantled top rated middleweight contender Matthew Macklin on JUNE 29 in a bout, which also drew over 1.1 million viewers on HBO.

“We’re very excited that boxing fans in the US and across the globe are tuning in to Gennady’s fights and his 2Days documentary in record numbers. HBO did a terrific job capturing the unique elements which took place leading up to the Rosado fight which made for a compelling feature,” said Tom Loeffler, Managing Director of K2 Promotions.

Not bad for a foreigner who was only fighting over in the US for a year or so and can barely speak English.

Haha thank you. What was that about averaging more?
    Ggg Stevens 1.4
    Ggg proska 675k
    Ggg macklin 1.1

    Ward Dawson 1.3
    Ward Rodriguez 1.1
    Ward froch 580k

    Fail. Now **** off.

But the fact that Golovkin after 3 televised fights was already on par with someone like Ward is a pretty big feat. Obviously we need to keep seeing if GGG's numbers hold up. Of course Ward is going to have the advantage because he has more televised fights with big names to have an upper hand in viewings. Gotta let things unfold as they will.

MVC and twisting the truth or just straight up lying through his teeth are as synonymous as Jenna Jameson and porn. lol

Skeptical about the 580k, I doubt those figures are real. From what I've read a few months back, it was far higher.

And EVEN if that was the case, we have to consider the fact that the Rodriguez numbers are far lower than they would have been due to no undercard/faced vs a GSP card.

While on the other hand, GGG's card was faced with no such troubles.

    :hi:

After Ward moved to HBO, his averages have actually been higher

    So you actually lose.

I knew youd twist it to fit your agenda instead of having a bit of self respect and admit you're wrong. Youre pathetic.

I never twisted anything? Very skeptical about those numbers

Who has the higher averages on HBO?

    Please tell me. :hi:

Who was the one who claimed 1 million for Adama?

    Where's the link?

According to Max boxing radio the Showtime Super six final featuring Andre Ward and Carl Froch had less than 500,000 television viewers watching it live.

That figure is 209,000 less than the number of people who watched Brandon Rios defeat Miguel Acosta to win the WBA Lightweight title(Also on Showtime).

They did all those Fight Camp 360's for that tournament too.

So first it was 580k and now people are saying it's less than 500k.

Like I said before, these numbers aren't accurate.

Well to be fair, all it takes is for Gennady's next fight is to have the numbers be between 1.1 and 1.3 and he will have a better average.

That wasn't your argument. Where's your link? You straight lied about an available number. His adama fight did over a million on sky, russia1, etc combined. Go call the networks you waste of life.

Golovkin is already a bigger draw than Ward, both in TV figures and live gate sales. GGG-Stevens had a bit over 4600 ticket sales, priced from $125-300. Live gate would be approx 1mil

Ward E-rod had only around 4200 ppl in attendance and about 275k live gate

    http://www.eurweb.com/2013/11/ringside-update-ward-delivers-a-boxing-clinic-against-rodriguez/

Now Golovkin is in the main room at MSG and competing for the 5th largest draw in North America

A-side and B-side are strictly business. Plus Ward is now the one calling GGG out to move up and fight him at his weight. Golovkin is the A-side, and that is pretty much not disputable.
