I am not asking for a list, I am asking for 2 names of two top hw fighters, both prime in the same era.

My claim is : Wlad is top 3 any heavyweight era.

In order to prove me wrong, you simply need to give me a counterexample, and list 3 fighters prime in the same era that were better than Wlad. I even made it easier for you and reduced that number to 2.

Proof by counterexample, logic 101. Don't send me to wiki, its not wiki thats making the claim, its you.

I agree with you, he is in fact terrible, when it comes to boxing skills. But he keeps winning, he has a solid chin, and he has a decent punch, plus he is 6'4 240 lbs, which is pretty good target practice for a recovery fight.

I can make it easy for me and say anything before 1950 (As I firmly believe those light heavies and cruiserweights had no chance against Wlad), but I will keep it interesting, and pick the era where the dominant champ was closest to Wlad, ie. Holmes era.

Please do not try to bring young Tyson in, as he fought Holmes when Holmes was on a clear decline, we need both guys to be in their respective primes.

I agree with that except that he keeps on winning, since stepping up, he has lost handily (though he did give an ageing VK a run around till the cut).

Sanders fight was how long ago? 12 years? Paciao lost to Torrecampo, would you say that any journeyman from 110 LBS would knock out Manny?

I am saying he is more than decent at what he does, I am saying he is downright surgical at what he does, and there are select few that did what he does better than him.

You do realize that Char won 5 consecutive fights since his lost to VK, right? One of them over a fairly well known and respected former contender, kevin Johnson.

johnsons is not respected, he was a prospect at best who peaked with the Austro title. he is 'known' because vits defended against him.

    Spinks, really? Which Smith, bonecrusher?

I think Holmes vs Wlad is a pick em fight of guys that are amazing at long range.

Young Foreman I think would beat Wlad. So the way I see it, 1 win, 1 pick em.
Spinks/Witherspoon I disagree with. We are left with Bonecrusher and Holmes, once again, one pick em, one probable win (I could be still under impression of the Bonecrusher/Witherspoon fight, but I thought Bonecrusher was severely underrated). Either way, I do not see anyone saying categorically that those guys would make short (or long) work of Wlad, and a lot of the fights could go either way, with the edge in Klitschko's favor.

Johnson is respected by fighters first and foremost. No one ever tries to knock him out, because when he is cornered, he wakes up and knocks you out (Like Leapai)

torrecampo was prime and Manny was stupid enough to fight with a handicap.

to compare - Corrie was retired and had all the disadvantages.

forgot about Chavers. at 6 feet tall, he would do worse than Povetkin did, and would most likely find getting inside the range an impossible task
