Canelo fight is not happening. he will fight Kirkland plus they know Cotto-Canelo will do over a mil easy next cinco de mayo.

So who should Cotto fight. Andrade? Quillen? I think any of those are good. GGG fight would be awesome but i dont think that happens till next winter (which sucks for him) because u dont want to risk a Canelo fight. I say he should fight Quillen and grab more titles. I dont think he has anything lined up, regular HBO would be good for that.

Who do u want to see Cotto fight next? :bbb:bbb

He has quite a few options. Golovkin, Bradley(as Arum recommended ), Murray, Kirkland and others. Regarding the Cinco de Mayo date, Cotto and his promotion would be stupid to pick on a date Mayweather is going to fight in.

Unless Mayweather is fighting Pacquiao he cant compete with Cotto-Canelo. that might actually force Mayweather to fight Pacquiaom he knows. Cotto-canelo beats anybody Mayweather fights

It's gonna be a milking fight. He ain't fighting GGG. I would say maybe Quillin at best. He will cherrypick at 160, rightfully so. He isn't a big guy for the weight.

Bob already said that Bradley is next.

Bradley fought his entire amatuer career as a LMW/MW from what Ive read. He should do well in this fight.:think

Theres no cherrypick. who ever he fights will be good unless its a WW coming up. anybody at 154 or 160 is a good fight.

Why not fight his mandatory Marco Rubio? Its still PR-Mexico , nowhere near as big as Canelo but would get a lot of attention in Mexico and build the Alvarez-Cotto fight up even more. If Cotto thinks he can take on a healthy, real 160 pounder he should just fight his mandatory.

If he beats a healthy mandatory contender like Rubio I would also credit him as a reigning lineal champ, not just a guy who beat one on his last legs.

Bradley is a WW, so that is a cherrypick. Quillin, while he is a true 160 guy, is trash. He would be a calculated challenge.

A real challenge is a guy like GGG, Chavez, Sturm (while past it), Macklin, all true 160 guys.
