yeah dude its over! what a way to end the series too! 5th fight would've messed it up and dragged it on. pac needs to fight somebody else and JMM wants to fight other ppl too.

    great for boxing

yeah dude talk about a fight! OG vs youngster. if Porter-Brook were to pull it off then they would get alot of recognition. and if JMM was to win then its time to retire.

What's a debatable decision matter? Raheem clearly outpointed Morales in between Pac fights too, and it didn't matter. Pac's popularity has never relied upon having an unblemished record- it relies on producing fan-friendly fights.

Losses don't matter for action fighters nearly to the extent they do for pure boxers who don't have fan friendly styles. It's simple. Networks look for excuses not to air pure boxers, and they look for excuses to air action fighters.

Had Pac bailed after Pac-JMM 2 or 3, the only people bitching about it today would be the same ones who don't give him credit for fighting JMM 4 times in the first place. There's no pleasing everyone.

Nonsense. Pacquiao didn't have to make these fights just like Barrera, Morales and Hamed didn't back when Marquez was calling them out. Barrera ended up facing Marquez later simply because of the hype Marquez got thanks to Pacquiao fighting him. I don't care about the fights being close or not, it was Pacquiao who gave him the shot and that's my point in my previous post. People weren't even going to care or be bothered if Pacquiao gave Marquez the third and fourth fights, but Pacquiao still did. People even called the third Marquez fight a "cherry pick".

Try to be realistic and fair please. Marquez pricing his self out now only proves that he wasn't worth the four chances Pacquiao gave him. It was Pacquiao who had a massive following and a big name back then, not Marquez.

No it didn't. Pacquiao offered Marquez an immediate rematch after their first fight only to see Marquez pricing his self out. Morales was the one to replace Marquez and accept to fight Pacquiao. Marquez however, went on to fight Chris John in Indonesia on a PPV that literally made $0 on PPV.

Seeing how big Pacquiao got after the Morales fights, Marquez finally accepted the offer for a rematch. It was a 50/50 fight and Pacquiao got the nod. Pacquiao then moved on to bigger and historical things by moving up to 140+ and the rest is history.

Maybe u dont care if the fights were close or not but the WORLD did! reason why Arum wanted to make the fight. why did u think it do good PPV buys if nobody cared :patsch

Im being realistic and fair here. JMM priced himself out because the series is over! He made that offer because he knew Arum and Pac wouldnt take it which is great for boxing because the series is over plain and simple.

Nobody said the 3rd fight was a cherrypick, stop trolling with that comment:lol:

and to help your own self, think about who pac could;ve fought....NOBODY!! Theres was nobody else to fight so HE HAD TO TAKE THE FIGHT! u guys act like Pac had options. we all know Arum owns that guy and he wont fight anybody from golden Boy so he had to take that fight. and the reason why hes fighting Algeri is because he has nobody to fight and doesnt have the balls to fight anbyody else! or at least push Arum to fight somebody from Golden Boy.

trust me. if pac never gave JMM a rematch after the first fight he would be hearing it today dude! U know it so dont front. after another 2nd close fight everybody was wondering when would the 3rd fight happen. PPL wanted the 3rd fight after Clottey, nobody wanted to see the cheater Margarito get a shot...but it didnt happen. pressure started mounting. so he finally signed

Hey Scar this is getting scarey we agree on something:lol:
I think JMM knows he got lucky in the last fight Paquaio was starting to put a hurt on him. But Manny lost concentration went in for the kill but got caught himself. Could so easily have been the other way around.
C'mon JMM show us it wasn't a fluke return the favor to Manny for the chances he gave you

Ahem!!! Duck Could you please provide us proof that Antonio Margarito EVER cheated?????I know you cannot because Ive contacted the CSAC , the liar that started this railroading Nazim Richardson & others concerned and NO ONE can provide one iota of proof that Tony did any more than have a completely harmless but used gauze pad in his wraps. He did not notice his trainers mistake. So unless you know something we don't please stop maligning Tony Margarito's name.
If you want to name the real cheat that night try Shane Mosely he is a PROVEN Ped's abuser isn't he:hi:

JMM will come crawling back for a payday once the pile of cash dries up, this is BOXING. If he sticks to his guns with this one, I'll take my hat off to him, but I don't see it happening. That's the only big fight he has on the table for him, and eventually when he realizes how limited his options are he'll take it.
