    That's bound to happen.
    This IS ESB.
    But I would have expected a fighter who is right behind SRR and Hopkins as the greatest MW in history to at least fill the garden. :yep

    We both know people saying stuff like that before its time is ridiculous. Furthermore, ability and popularity don't go hand in hand. Look at Ward, for example. Only hardcore fans of the sport, like us, seem to respect what he does. Golovkin is just getting started in the big shows. Who knows how far his ability and popularity will take him. It will be fun to see.

    Hehehe, you're right.
    I shouldn't jerk them around, but it's so easy and they are so emotionally sensitive. :yep

    We both know that when Ward/Froch/Taylor/Abraham was a part of the Super 6, they all were glued to the set.
    I never did explore what the S6 viewer numbers were.

    All I want is to see good fights and hopefully one day Golovkin will step up and provide just that.

    Vitali Klitschko Vs. Kirk Johnson sold out during a huge snow storm at MSG....................

    Golovkin is getting top ratings for HBO, he is getting popular..................HBO wants Golovkin to fight Cotto, but Roach will not allow Cotto to come near Golovkin. Golovkin would come down to 154 to fight Void, but Void is afraid, Void also refused to fight Martinez at 150....................Golovkin Vs. Geale is expected to draw a good crowd at MSG...............however, Golovkin Vs. Chavez will sell out, but Chavez is still afraid to fight Golovkin............

    Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko has drawn crowds of over 65,000 at ringside for their fights, Void can't draw that period............

    why would the number of russians or jews in a city impact the attendance? shouldn't we be considering kazakhs?

    A lot of Kazakhs will come to NY by the weekend to buy tickets. It's in our Kazakh culture to do things very late. Hopefully this stands here as well, so I'm still optimistic.

    Geale is already a name in Oz, doesnt really benefit his career to keep fighting there.
