No. thats what most people can't grasp. Pedro Diaz was not happy with they way cotto aproached that fight. and they separated

its still a legit loss no doubt but cotto that night looked slower , slugish

He really should. I mean, the Martinez fight was a very questionable win, doesn't really say how much he's really improved. A rematch with Trout is a perfect test for Cotto to prove he really is a different Cotto. Of course, Cotto is on his way out, so taking big $$$ fights til he retires, that's understandable. But a Trout rematch is always an option in the future.

Of course the 2 black fighters get credit , but the Mexican and Philipino were cheating and their wins don't count .

Cotto probably had a very, very bad day when he lost to Trout .. I hope he can get a rematch and beat him. Trout is a journeyman.

Actually Cotto was not happy with Pedro Diaz...something went flat in camp and he was not mentally in that fight and Diaz had not the experience to change things in the corner.

Cotto went for a more experienced Coach in Roach to finish out his career!!!

Also, that rematch will not happen and does nothing for Cotto even though he will starch Trout!!!

what does that have to do with me saying giving trout his 3rd loss in a row is pointless.

Maybe Tyson should have rematched Buster after Holyfield KO'd him in 3 rounds :patsch

It's ok... You like your reality a little bit different than mine. All good. Margarito was probably banned for a year because of racism and Manny...Manny is just genuinely afraid of needles. Cool. :good

Cotto said it himself had he been in better shape for Trout, fight would have gone better for him.
