I'm pretty sure Manny isn't leaving Arum and will retire with Top Rank so if Floyd ever fights him then the Floyd fanatics/apologists will be forced to accept the fact that he has been ducking him and is only fighting him because he feels the timing is right and he has slipped. As I said before, I am a bigger Floyd fan than most of the Floyd fanatics/apologists because I have been watching him closely since '96 and paid $1200 to see him fight Cotto in Vegas. I don't know anyone else who has done that who argues with me constantly about him ducking dudes. Floyd started the cold war to duck dudes (namely Pacquiao) and the fact that Manny needs money has no bearing on whether Floyd ever fights him. I categorically agree with you! I have written for boxing websites, interviewed countless boxers, trainers, promoters (including Arum) and have inside info on this situation. I didn't want to believe it, but I am 100% certain that Floyd ducks dudes and it sickens me to say it because I really thought he would be my generation's Sugar Ray Robinson. I am a fan of both guys as boxers but I am a bigger fan of Manny's mentality. styles make fights. theftjr doesnt box southpaws, he fights them. offense vs. offense, pac all day and twice on sunday. pretty sure if he were fighting 90pct southpaws, he will be more offensive minded just like pac. it is different when you are constantly fighting opposite stance. you develop different techiniques, different habits.
