I never said he wasn't. I said I want to see IF he is. Not once have I ever called GGG a bum, or a hypejob. I've said that I want to see, because too many times have I prematurely labeled someone "the real deal" only to have them be exposed shortly after. When GGG proves it, I'll be right there admitting I was wrong from the jump. Till then, no fantasy wins, no overhyping him .

Froch can be pretty deadpan at times, so it can be hard to tell if hes joking.

Since K2 and Matchroom likely would have finalized a deal were in not for Grove II I think he was just , in Brit terms, "taking the ****".

But nonetheless K2 has reached out to Matchroom and Sauerland to try and make fights - offering to travel to their turf no less. You cant really say that Golovkin is unwilling to fight tough guys at 168.

Its one thing to say he hasnt fought the toughest fights yet, its another to say he is unwilling to do so. Big money fights just arent that easy to put together.

I'm certainly not to your level.

But I think 160 is so weak right now that I won't be able to tell if he stays there. People think I want him to go 168 so he'll lose. I want him to go to 168 to see how he measures up against better talent. That's all.

ahhaah got you so golovkin is not the real deal at 160 ?

who does he have to fight at 160 to make him the real deal ?

because the reality is no one can compete with him at 160 he is the real deal

NO ONE. Geale is the second guy in the division and has L's against Mundine and Barker. I want him to go 168, which he won't. And that's fine. I just won't be sold on him or rave about him until he steps up

So you're saying nobody at 160 can be "the real deal". No matter who you are. No matter who you fight.

Didn't say he wasnt the real deal, I said I want to see for myself. Broner ran through Demarco at 135 who was I think the WBC champ and #2 there. And was head and shoulders above everyone at 135 imo.

He stepped up and got beat up. and hasn't looked good since then.

Easy to be the best at a weight when you have all the physical tools in your advantage. Power, Speed edge etc.

What makes greatness is having some of your tools taken away and still being an A fighter.
