Which fighter that was exposed after receiving huge hype, did you fall for?

Hypejobs that you swore were the real deal?

No shame guys. It happens to the best of us. I was on the Bute express. Which is why I'm so hard on GGG now. Don't wanna do that **** again

Tyson but he was legit for a while, and I was 8 when starting getting big.

I'll admit when i first started working with Kevin Johnson, he had all the tools to succeed in the heavyweight division...ESPN was saying he was going to be the next big heavyweight & I bought into his hype.

Yes he did have alot of Promotional problems with Star Boxing, but...he could have been someone if he learned how to throw a fricking punch in a fight.

    David Rodriguez Malik Scott

the rest of the guys I jumped aboard are still winning fights and may eventually fulfill their hype

This was actually almost word for word what I was going post originally. I'm hoping Kovalev isn't hype.

umm, i dont even know off the top of my head.
im usually dead on after seeing 2/3 performances but, i bet i'll think of one within the hour or so.

i think i just got one, it was a HW something Johnson, i thought he was going to destroy ruiz then ruiz made him look soft and a total biatch. not sure if it was kirk, like the johnson in a couple posts above me.

i think a few years ago he somehow got a step in shot vs wlad and was like 270 when he should be 220. he was ruined inside 2 rounds if my memory serves correct.

oh ya, for boxing *** and ALL his alts.

i was high on this guy called manny pac WAY before this kid ever heard of him.
turned out he would only fight dead men walking once he starting fighting at his natural weight. and he ruined the biggest fight in history because he would HAVE to be clean.

    go figure

yeah... a loss only defines a fighter if he can not rebuild and continue to win...EVEN IF THEY NEVER ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST LEVELS

Francisco Bojado. The kid had natural talent, and ended up doing nothing with it. Last I heard, he went on a high speed chase in the San Diego area.

Andre Berto. Not that I was a fan of his but the way he was winning fights made me believe this guy was going to be a threat. I was wrong and glad I was wrong, never liked Berto!

Price. I was impressed with his patience and ability for a man of his size, I was certain he had a lot more to show if the going got tough. I honestly thought he would beat Wlad.

    *holds hands up*

Bojado! Good shout out! He used to remind me of Vargas.
