Truax is circling and jabbing. Ennis throws a right hand, caught on the gloves but Truax is sent flying onto the seat of his pants as their feet cross. Ruled a slip. Truax is up and working jabs and right crosses in on Ennis through his guard and under his wrists, landing on the chin and sternum by turn, bringing his 1-2 up and down fluidly and peppering Ennis on the ropes. Ennis tightens his defenses and gets of the ropes. Ennis puts his left forearm vertical against his face and turns to his right, rolling with a Truax right hand. Ennis comes forward and throws an overhand right and ties up when he collides with Truax following its momentum in. Truax keeps jabbing at the chin of Ennis as it swivels from side to side, and rolls with a counter right hand with a quick turn of his own face.

Truax is jabbing the body and looping some high right hands in over the left glove of Ennis. Truax barges in after jabbing or landing a single right hand and bears down on Ennis, catching a few up-jabs or shoeshine flurries on the chest but keeping his face protected with his gloves positioned close together forming a net.

Round 6

Truax is doubling his jab and stuffing a right cross into the belly of Ennis, who doubles over while backing up as his father screams from the corner to stop doing that. Truax is bullying Ennis around the ring, landing his jab and using it to deflect Ennis', making a slight adjustment to its trajectory as it launches to simply brush Ennis' jab aside. Truax is jumping back and away from Ennis' faked overhand right, then moving in and working the body to pin Ennis on the ropes. Truax misses a right hand and takes a chopping flurry on the shoulderblades as Ennis leaps at him.
