Who is this Mike Lee anyway?

I get the feeling he's some "known from something else altogether, who took on boxing" type celebrity or something alike. The American Freddy Flintoff if you will.

    Damn Teddie,

"You were getting excited but I knew he wasn't hurt."

    "You think?"

Nah, he's famous just for being a pro boxing prospect...except he never stopped being a prospect. Kind of like Korobov except he never had the amateur background or the obvious talent of Korobov. He was more of a "wishful thinking" case because promoters and TV networks desperately want an exciting, white, handsome, All-American guy to 'make it', and were blatantly grooming him for that, even though he clearly lacks the requisite talent.

He is honestly no better than Sean Monaghan (who for the last few years has been earnestly calling him out) yet he somehow got blessed with all sorts of national recognition in magazines, starring roles in TV commercials for Subway, and being signed by Top Rank.

All despite long periods of inactivity and not really impressing against the low caliber opponent he does face when he bothers fighting.

Monaghan would lay him out. :good

    Dozens of national spots, actually.

    Without having ever fought anyone.

Ennis looks like he's a few over hand rights away from an Atomic Style Meltdown.

Why, because Atlas said he was doing "a little better"?

His dad sure didn't seem to feel he was doing great in the sixth.

    Round 7

Truax is just falling in behind the jab and leaning on Ennis, jabbing into the guard on the way in and then flailing at the body in the clinch. Ennis is working uppercuts and covering up as he lays on the ropes with Truax flopping into him repeatedly. Ennis wrestles Truax off and lands a left hook after the ref initiates a break.

    10-9 Ennis

    69-64 Truax

    Round 8

Truax is shoving into Ennis behind the jab and drilling with his shoulders, enveloping him with both arms. Body shots by Ennis. Clubbing right hand by Ennis knocks Truax back. Ennis steps forward and clubs down a few more times across the neck and back of the head of Truax. Ennis is bashing down the guard of Truax with the right hand, not letting him smother and tie up.

    10-9 Ennis

    78-74 Truax
