Real credit should be given to Groves and DeGale.

When they fought they were 12-0 and 10-0 respectively and willing to make the fight and put it on the line, rather than the old story of letting the fight build.
How many fights have been missed due to the letting it build situation.
I suppose Groves and DeGale had history and the fight built itself but wouldnt it be great if we had a few more DeGale/Groves scenarios

we could possibly see undefeated vs undefeated

    Quigg/Frampton
    Saunders/Eubank jnr

    We never got Fury/Price

Jennings and Perez should be applauded as well in a division where the best rarely fight the best.

Consider now though, that Rocky has had more fights than what Degale and Groves had, had at that time (thats including deducting a couple for prizefighter).

Im not as sold on Callum or Rocky as I was Groves and DeGale

    Absolutely.
I was just giving an example but Galahad would be a good domestic match up for either Quigg or Frampton

To be fair to Hennessey he offered to stage Galahad/Quigg this in September and Hearn turned him down.

I forgot that one, but would say, what a good competitive match up it made.
Like Groves and DeGale we got a great result, in that it was a competitive fight where both can go on, rather than one blowing away the other

kudos, it's a shame they're the exception not the rule. 0 is overrated.

re price fury, remember the latter vacated. price wanted it.

You may be right, but as you word it I THINK. We dont know and that is what makes bouts between those 3 intriguing and maybe none of them need it, as they all have talent, but I cant think of many bouts that would get them much further attention
