This is what I think. He's lucky he got Haye as let's be honest Haye has made him. Same with Groves both very talented who has made Booth look good as a trainer. Apart from them his record isn't very good. Oh, plus Perez looked awful and out of shape last night.
Agreed, and even then his tactics for Haye at HW were ridiculous. He almost lost Haye the Valuev fight.

Perez is the kind of guy who doesn't really listen to anyone. You can see it in the way he acts. Booth had no control over him. Perez was talking incoherently about fighting members of Jennings team after the fight while the scorecards were being read and all Booth could do was give him a hug while Perez paced up and down mumbling incoherently. There was no reasoning with him. I think he is his own man and will do what he wants. These Cubans are hard headed. Booth gave it a go and is happy with his paycheck.
True. I don't think Booth as a trainer is good for Perez. Firstly he came in way to heavy for a guy who is meant to be slick and relying on speed. He is a stocky built man by nature but he looked like Tua in there yesterday. Perez needs a old school trainer who will take him back to the fundermentals and as you say not allow him to get away with doing his own thing. He's a very talented Cuban who looks like bed heading the same way as Solis.
Yes. He was speaking in English and then throwing the odd word in what he thought was Spanish out at random. He said on Bunce that he was taking Spanish lessons but I believe Perez has been in Ireland a few years now,so Adams Spanish aint gonna catch up to his English. It looked to me like showing off to me,when there really was nothing to show off for. Didn't even string 2 words together. Agua por favour.
Very talented Cuban yes. But one of many who get lazy when they start to see how soft we've got it in the British isles. Typically lazy,and for me not in the same league for talent as Stevenson,Savon,or even young Savon who we saw in the London Olympics against AJ.
