Did anyone catch this after the fight? They showed Froch comments on "swerving Golovkin like the plague. I don't need to be in with him" etc.

Very very bad publicity for Froch since this went all around america on HBO, not HBO PPV but it made Golovkin look even better.

HBO will have loved him saying that, but it's clearly taken out of context.

Froch, whether you're a fan of his or not, one thing you can't say about him is that he's a ducker.

Only brit Froch lovers will say it was out of context.

If Froch goes on record again and says the same thing the same people will still say he never meant it etc etc etc.

If the fight made sense then I'd have no doubt Froch would get in the ring with him.

Didn't Froch admit to wanting nothing to do with Golovkin? Sure I saw him say that once. May well have been tongue in cheek, but still...

Yeah that's what HBO have pulled it from.

To any unbiased observer Froch was being honest about not wanting to fight GGG for the reasons he laid out.

HBO have pulled his comments and shown them.

Froch lovers/brits will say it was tongue in cheek/he never meant it etc but normal people who have no bias see it for what it is. At this stage of his career, Froch is being more and more honest. I've no doubt he will reiterate his views on not wanting to fight GGG if he's asked again. Then the excuses from others will be even funnier.

The issue with the fight is that Froch would need to start well as GGG doesn't mess about.

It will likely be Cotto next for GGG and then he may move up.

Surely it's simply hyping up GGG? The Americans rate Froch. If he's saying GGG is that good, you better listen up.

Troll thread - Kellerman even went as far as to correct that the comments were Froch's reaction to the question 'how would you fight GGG in the ring' and that the comments could be meant to reflect how he would adjust to fighting GGG. Kellerman then broke down each statement as to how it would be represented in Froch's in ring performance. There was no insinuation that Froch was a coward. It was all part of the same portion of the show that the thread starter has neglected to mention.

Golovkins best win is Geale and Froch is going to duck him? If Chavez or Groves money was on the table he'd take it in a second. If Golovkins wants to cross over in to the mainstream he should be banging on Froches door for a fight!

As long as Froches chin isn't damaged from his wars, I'd pick him over Golovkin due to his size and experience advantage. First half of the fight use the size advantage behind a long jab, second half use Golovkins lack of experience and go on the attack.

Fight I'd love to see either way!

This is a professional sport. Look at the money Froch made for fighting Groves. What is the point of risking a fight with Golovkin for relatively little, when he can make good money and have an easier night against DeGale?!

Bull****, Lampley and kellerman were talking and lampley was actually giving froch credit. "well, who else would a warrior like froch say that about, only one man - golovkin".

They were giving froch full credit for his career but at the same time they were obviously saying that he is ducking GGG, which is what Froch himself says.

Clearly you have Frochs balls in your mouth and can't be objective.

Hbo can feck off, funny how they didn't bring up ggg camps comments on how ward doesn't bring enough to the table compared to Chavez for a fight, blatant duck move, froch is what he is, not the best technique wise, or biggest hitter but no way would he duck anyone especially a overrated plum like ggg
