The new film "Golovkin: Cultural Beatings for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" will likely inspire millions.
Yeah, it's really a shame imo. We have all the tools to become a boxing powerhouse nation but politics get in the way.
Pacquiao opened the doors for many Filipinos to pursue Boxing as a full-time career, Golovkin is on his way to do exact same for Kazakh Boxers. Kazakhstan has had many great amateurs throughout the years, it's about time each one of them is sponsored and encouraged to carry on that career to professional Boxing. This would be great for our sport and hopefully Golovkin becomes the ambassador to this.
Kazakhstan are a leading nation in aiba, I can see all there too amateurs being convinced to become apb pro boxers
I would expect more to now try. That seems to be the way it works. Once someone has some success, others believe they can do it to. It will be a good thing as was previously mentioned, Kazakhstan has a strong boxing tradition.
I hope reigning amateur MW world champ Alimkhanuly goes pro he's excellent also beat Quigley clearly which is no easy feat. Bakhtiyar Artayev would have made a better pro than either imo. Hopefully seeing Golovkin will be a counter balance to that.
